Terms & Conditions
Privacy
AncestryBank.com is very committed to preserving our visitor’s privacy.
Information Collection and Use
AncestryBank.com collects personal information when you register to the site. As a buyer, we collect your name, address, email, and telephone number. If you upload and archive documents, we also collect the name and address you wish payments to be made to.
Unsolved Ancestry uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Unsolved Ancestry does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of AncestryBank.com's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
Business Transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy services, stores, or assets. In such transactions, visitor information is usually one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the unlikely event that AncestryBank.com is acquired, or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.
Credit card information will never be disclosed by AncestryBank and follow the conditions of use established by PayPal.

Prerequisites for Uploading documents
Document providers uploading images and transcripts to AncestryBank.com assert that they are the owners of the documents at the time the images and transcripts were done. The document itself may be sold to other parties, however, the image and transcript must be owned by the document provider while the original document was owned by said provider. The document provider’s copyright is on the image and transcript.
Document providers do not have an image or transcript of the original document provided for commercial purposes to other websites/businesses. The success of the website is based on providing non-duplicated information and access to “one of a kind” handwritten material.
If a document provider has violated the copyright of another person’s image/transcript, please contact ancestrybank@ancestrybank.com so we may remove the image/transcript.
